Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The food and service here are excellent. The quality is among the best ,especially the steak! I ordered the tenderloin (the special one available only this month or something), cooked medium-rare, and everything about it was absolutely perfect. The staff and service were also impressive. Everyone was very nice, friendly, and gave great recommendations about the food and wine. I recommend to booking a table before coming. There’s plenty of parking available, so no need to worry about that. Definitely be coming back for dinner again soon!"
"Thumbs up for incredible flavors and top-notch service. A true Argentinean steakhouse with fantastic steaks and surprisingly divine seafood. Highly recommended and definitely come back!"
"If you’re a serious meat lover in Bangkok, Don Asado is a place that truly delivers. This Argentinian-style steakhouse is all about charcoal-grilled perfection, quality sourcing, and a relaxed yet refined dining experience. Food & Highlights The standout here is definitely the Picanha from Mayura Farm. The meat is beautifully marbled, juicy, and grilled to bring out its natural richness. The fat cap crisps up nicely, while the inside stays tender and full of flavor. It’s the kind of steak that doesn’t need heavy sauces—just salt, fire, and good technique. Other grilled cuts are also well-executed, with consistent doneness and strong smoky aromas. Sides and salads are thoughtfully prepared and work well to balance the richness of the meat. Atmosphere & Service The restaurant has a cozy, slightly hidden feel, making it ideal for date nights, small gatherings, or business dinners. The ambience is warm and calm, without feeling too formal. Service is attentive and knowledgeable. The staff are happy to recommend cuts, doneness levels, and wine pairings, which adds to the overall experience. Price & Value Don Asado sits in the mid-to-high price range, but the quality of the meat—especially the Mayura Farm Picanha—makes it feel worth the spend. You’re paying for premium ingredients and proper grilling craftsmanship. Tips • Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. • Go with friends if you want to try multiple cuts and share. • If you’re unsure what to order, start with the Picanha—it’s a safe and impressive choice."
"Go to option for the steak in bkk The signature short rib is recommend. The appetizers are good (cheese bread) The bamboo shell is nice"
"The well known Argentinian steakhouse that serves its meat on a hot asado grill at the table. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and it works well for a date night. The spinach salad comes with a strawberry compote style dressing. It tastes almost like strawberry jam, but less sweet and more tart. It is topped with pistachio and goat cheese. The steaks are thick cut, with a light char. They continue to cook slightly on the heated grill after being served, so keep that in mind when choosing your doneness. The razor clams and spicy sausages are also worth ordering. Portions are large and both dishes were very satisfying."
"It’s actually a restaurant specialized in Argentine beef. The meat is very good — in fact, all the food is excellent. The quality–price ratio is fair. In general, if you want to eat good beef in Asia, it’s not always easy to find places where you can really enjoy high-quality meat. What usually arrives here in Asia is Australian beef, which is OK, but in my opinion, not excellent. So finding a place where you can enjoy good meat at a price that isn’t outrageous is a big plus. It’s a very good option. The place itself is very nice, the service was good and appropriate, and overall I would definitely recommend it!"
"Don Asado Easily one of my favourites since I was introduced to it by my boyfriend. Their Dani’s Strawberry Salad is my favourite, but it’s the spinach that makes it so exceptional. (Unfortunately, they’re always low on spinach when we go, so it’s usually a mixed salad with spinach - bums me out ) Another favourite is definitely the pork neck, with an honourable mention to the jaew dipping sauce (น้ำจิ้มแจ่ว), it’s got that magic"
"Heard good things and had been meaning to come by Don Asado for a while. Made it and was pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely amazing. Service was fine, friendly. The chorizo was yummy, as were the strawberry salad and the focaccia. We shared a tomahawk for our main and it came perfectly cooked. I’d say it’s probably the best tomahawk I’ve had in the city (not that I’m a once-a-month tomahawk person, but I’ve tried a handful). I don’t have the biggest sweet tooth, but we did share two desserts. A tad sweet for my liking, but still quite nice. They, unfortunately, don’t have an extensive wine list, but it does the job."
